GHK-Cu (injectable grade)

Copper tripeptide-1 · Glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine copper · Copper peptide
Evidence C · Mostly animal evidenceNot approved for human use
In one line. A familiar skin care ingredient, but the injected form has not been tested in people.

What it is

GHK-Cu is a tiny peptide of three amino acids joined to copper. Small amounts occur naturally in blood and skin. It is widely used in skin creams, and a separate injectable form is sold.

What is actually known

Skin creams have a long track record. For injection, research is only in animals and the lab. No human study has tested an injected dose.
