Natural sponge spicules are tiny silica needles, finer than a hair. Massaged into the skin, millions of them open temporary micro-channels in the outer layer, so the actives that follow reach where a cream alone cannot. No needle, no device, no acid peel.
Massage drives the spicules into the outer layer, opening millions of temporary micro-channels.
The actives in the powder and the activator, and the serum that follows, travel through those channels.
The skin reads the micro-channels as a signal to renew.
Spicules shed naturally over 48 to 72 hours, taking dull surface cells with them.
Sponge spicule powder is sold in three commercial grades: 99% TOP, 99% First Class and 70%. BIO-SPICULE V2 uses only the top one.
Why intact matters. Published work on sponge spicules shows that the longer and thinner the spicule, the more it opens the skin. A broken needle is a wasted needle.

Finished product: a registered cosmetic skin renewal set, powder made to QB/T 2872 and essence to QB/T 2660, in a certified cosmetic production facility.
5Same spicule raw material as SQT, tuned for comfort. The deep renewal clients ask for, with a prickle for hours and light flaking for 2 to 3 days.
Top grade spicules, 90 to 95% of them intact, so every pass channels evenly.
The spicule powder stays dry until it meets the activator at the chair: 1 to 1, mixed in 15 seconds, straight to the face.
Four forms of hyaluronic acid, two peptides, cica and oat beta-glucan. 0% parabens, 0% phenoxyethanol, zero acid, zero alcohol.
One technique, five sets. Match the set to the skin, and the intensity to the client.
| BIO-SPICULE | Needle microneedling | Chemical peel | |

| Acid | none in the activator | none | yes |
| Device | none, hands and brush | pen or roller | none |
In laboratory studies on sponge spicules, the micro-channels were numerous, about 850 per square millimetre, and closed only gradually over several days. The skin keeps taking in the actives long after the client has gone home.
No needle, so no open puncture wounds. The channels sit in the outer layer, and the spicules leave on their own as the skin renews.
Sessions are usually spaced 2 to 4 weeks apart, once the skin has fully settled. BRIGHT can be repeated sooner.
| Set | Best for | Intensity |
|---|---|---|
| CLEAR Emerald Green | Acne-prone skin, post-acne marks and pores | ●●● |
| FIRM Sapphire Blue | Refined pores, firmness and barrier support | ●●○ |
| GLOW Rose Pink | Dullness, sallow tone and a rosy glass glow | ●●○ |
| BRIGHT Pearl White | Gentle brightening, fine lines and a smooth glow | ●○○ |
| MELA Amber Herbal | Stubborn dark patches, spots and uneven tone | ●●● |
Target: acne-prone skin, post-acne marks and pores. For oily, congested skin that wants a clearer, smoother look.
Target: refined pores, firmness and barrier support. For skin losing bounce, with visible pores.
Target: dullness, sallow tone and a rosy glass glow. For tired skin, and before an event.
Target: gentle brightening, fine lines and a smooth glow. Made for first-timers and sensitive skin, and can be repeated sooner than the other sets.
Target: stubborn dark patches, spots and uneven tone. Pair with daily sunscreen between sessions.
Order a box in one set, or mix the five sets freely. A sampler with one pair of every set is the easiest way to match your clients before committing to full boxes.
Cleanse and sanitise with a non-alcoholic antiseptic wipe.
One powder vial plus one activator vial in the bowl. Blend with the brush until smooth, about 15 seconds.
Four quadrants. Firm circles for 7 to 15 minutes, pressure matched to the set and the skin.
Sponge off surface residue with cool distilled water.
Chilled hyaluronic acid or collagen mask, 15 to 20 minutes.
Before you start. Check the list on page 17 for anyone who should wait, and take before photos in the same light and angle you will use at follow up, with the client's consent.
Sunscreen protects the result. Daily sunscreen matters with every set, and most of all with MELA and GLOW, where the goal is a more even, brighter tone.
